I do all the cooking in our house and my husband does some of the washing up and the one think he absolutely hates is cleaning the porridge sauce pan because of how hard it is to scrub and clean. I bought this saucepan for two reasons; I wanted to find something easy to clean and something that wouldn’t leak toxic chemicals into my food, especially every single day into my breakfast. It’s hard to demonstrate in a photo, but the porridge just glided straight off with normal detergent and the nice bamboo brush that comes with it. I had been using a cheap aluminium pot, but with the increasing number of articles coming out about the dangers of the materials in the pots and pans we cook our food in, I really wanted to find replacements. I absolutely love this sauce pan and can’t wait to use it to cook a whole range of things and it will be nice knowing that from sticky toffee through to savoury sauces, the pan will be easy to clean and not leak chemicals into the food I prepare for my young family. I also thought the product was beautifully presented which was a nice touch.
